Award winning design project for Northshore Properties. High end residential built similar to Savannah style homes.  Design had to be unique to separate the close proximity of the layout of the houses. Landscaping had to create separatism.

Ted Mills Project:
A Tennessee award winning landscape design build project for residential.
Local rosarian and award winning AARS rose Judge, Ted and Mary Alice Mills have a beautifully well-maintained home in the Riverhills subdivision and had an interest in planting their roses in a more landscape setting. Previously the Mills had raised beds of cross ties. Our goal was to redesign the existing landscape creating more perennials and shrubs with textural changes for the season as well as satisfying Ted’s space requirement for more than 300 rose bushes. We actually reduced his rose garden by 200 roses. I think he is slowly adding them back. He loves roses.

Dr. Ray and Caroline Harlin, residential design build project:
A large estate home in a beautifully wooded site that was already well landscaped. This project was a challenge due to the steep slopes and size of the heavily wooded rear area. It was our goal to design a series of retaining walls and landscaping to accommodate guests, as well as a nice leisure walk around the house. Great people to work for. Mrs. Harlin is such a pleasure, will miss her when we leave.

Congo River Golf & Exploration Company:
These projects consist of designing the Congo River Golf Adventure Golf Courses, located in Florida, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois. This included Site Plans, Wetland Mitigation Plans, Storm Water, Grading Drainage Plans, Lighting, Themes, Landscape and Irrigation Plans and all details, specifications, and construction documents. Great job, great opportunity. George was more than a pleasure to work for; he was a great inspiration in my business.

Mr. Bob Payet, residential design for a private residence:
Landscape designed to frame the house and cool the front picture window with the use of shade trees; color and textural changes where important to this couple for year around interest. The rear landscape screened the surrounding houses in a style that was not obtrusive to the neighbors or the homeowners. The Payets wanted a natural feeling landscape for lots of native fauna.

Mrs. Beverly Coulter, residential design:
This project consisted of designing and locating a pool, patio, and landscaping into an existing patio and landscape. Pool turned out great. We had to design a facade on the pool house to meet the standards of Brow Estate. They were meticulous, but we were up for the challenge. It turned out great, too.

Boyd-Buchanan School Courtyard:
Design project for local Architect, Mr. Patrick Bales, Jr., for the improvements to an existing concrete jungle in the center of the school. Project consisted of cutting out parts of the existing concrete to form tree wells, as well as create a functional area for the students to enjoy the outdoors.
