Southern Garden Design is a full-service Landscape Architectural design build firm. Successful designs are ones that are approached with focus and solutions through innovative designs. Our firm has a registered landscape architect and a computer-aided drafts person in-house to develop your plans with efficiency and at a lower cost. Our current computer capabilities include an efficient way to design and draft plans, make quick revisions, change scale, provide quantitative take-offs of all project materials along with working drawings.

As Landscape Architects, it is our goal to strive for and continually explore ways to improve the quality of life through an innovative design approach. Glen Lee Craig, ASLA, is an award- winning Tennessee and Florida registered Landscape Architect. Glen, a native of Chattanooga, received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Georgia, School of Environmental Design, in 1988. He has been practicing Landscape Architecture for over twenty years. Glen worked in Orlando, Florida, for such firms as Charlan-Brock Architects and Planners where he was involved in the Golden Award winning McIntyre Place; Best in American Living Award, Devon Green, and with Adventure Gold Design and Development Company developing adventure golf courses such as the Congo River Golf Chain of Miniature Golf Courses in Tampa, Clearwater, Orlando, and Kissimmee, Florida, as well as Chicago, Illinois, and Traverse City, Michigan. Glen has been practicing in the Chattanooga area ever since 1991. In 1994 Glen won three awards from the local Chattanooga Association of Landscape Professionals including best residential design/build, best municipal design/build, and best special project design/build. In 1996, Glen was awarded a first place award for residential design/build by the Tennessee Nurseryman's Association.
